The protagonist in My Fantasy Island is the never grow up boy—Peter Pan, who symbolizes the innocence and dream in human nature. Five statues of Peter Pan, with varied gestures are located at five directions, East, South, West, North, Center, are guarding Yang Maolin's fantasy island with their innocence and passion. Each Peter Pan has his unique riding equipment: the magnifiedinsects—unicorn beetle, stag beetle, bumble bee, long horned beetle, big dragon fly. These obscure yet attractive insects are Yang Maolin's boyhood toys. Yang Maolin has maximized them altogether and finally let go the excitement he has accumulated since childhood.
