The large exhibition of The Pioneers of Western Art in the Early Republic of Chinademonstrates the tracks of the first generation Chinese artists. Selecting artists who are active in the art era from the early republic of China to the Japanese Occupation, this exhibition divides its display into two categories: Early Taiwanese Artists and Early Overseas Chinese Artists. Theearly overseas Chinese artists involved in this exhibition are Pan Yu-Liang, Sanyu, Ding Yan-Yong (documents exhibited), Yun Gee; whilethe early Taiwanese artists are Chen Cheng-Po, Kuo Po-Chuan, Li Mei-Shu, Liao Chi-Chun, Yen Shui-Long, Chen Chih-Chi (documents exhibited), Yan Shan Lang, Lee Shih-Chiao, Chang Wan-Chuan, Liu Ci-Siang, Chen Te-Wang, Lee Chun-Shan, Hong Rui-Ling. The early Chinese artists are Li Tie-Fu (documents exhibited), Li Chao-Shi, Yan Wen-Liang, Wang Yue-Zhi, Xu Bei-Hong, Liu Hai-Su, Lin Fengmian, Guan Liang, Ni Yi-De (documents exhibited), Wu Da-Yu, Guan Zi-Lan (documents exhibited), Yu Beng, Fang Gan-Min, Pang Xu-Qin, Qin Xuan-Fu, Yang Qiu-Ren, Zhuang Ziman, Lin Da-Chuan.
