The first opening exhibition in Beijing gallery introduces seven important Chinese artists: Hsia Yang, Hsiao Chin, Shang Yang, Wang Huaiqing, Luo Zhongli, Su Xiaobai, Xu Jiang. Among them, Hsia Yang and Hsiao Chin are members of the Ton-Fan art group in Taiwan and they have engaged actively in the international art realm. Shang Yang, Wang Huaiqing and Su Xiaobai are the representatives for abstract paintings and their works subtly reveal the interiority and the spirit of Chinese culture. Luo Zhongli and Xu Jiang are unique in their aesthetic styles and have accomplished excellence in the art education. The opening ceremony in Taipei gallery is on Dec 18, 2010 and it incorporates works by pioneer artists, Sanyu, Wu Da-Yu, Zao Wou-Ki; hard-core and contemporary artists, Wang Huaiqing, Su Xiaobai, Xu Jiang, Liu Wei, Xiang Jing, Qu Guangci; and Taiwanese artists Lu Hsien-Ming, Chen Chieh-jen, Kuo Wei-Kuo, Hung Tung-lu and etc. The gallerists envision that this opening exhibition is a starting point to continue persevering in the belief of “extending the past accomplishments and creating the classics of tomorrow.”
