LIN & LIN Gallery represents this time many leading Chinese artists works in ART TAIPEI 2011. We will present the work of ZAO Wou-Ki in the 1950s when his first arrival in France, and the works of LIU Wei, who will hold a solo exhibition at LIN & LIN Gallery in the end of year present a distinctive meaning of landscape and objects. YIN Zhaoyang's new landscape series paintings inspired by the ancient Chinese painting and he develops his own language of it; instead of canvas, LU Hsien-Ming uses the stainless to describe the time motionless beauty in the city; CAO Hui discloses a self-validated “truth” through a very realistic sculpture style. Besides, in the works of XIANG Jing, we feel the feminine or her own mental reception and QU Guangci's works express the diverse humanistic style; LIU Shin-Tung's collages create a new contemporary cultural aesthetic; LAI Chiu-Chen uses the sign from the comic symbol to respond or interpret the unreality and creates a stronger truth. As for the works of HUANG Chia-Ning intend to respond (or maybe against) the environment we are in through the defocusing images by shaking which she picked up from the daily life; CHIU Chien-Jen's works make the short moment in the memories movie frame alike by overlapping painting.
